Top Places in European Countries to Invest in Vacation Rental Properties

Living as a digital nomad gives you a sense of freedom you’ve never had before. The only downfall is trying to figure out how to have a steady income while traveling. One way to create income is by investing in summer vacation rental properties.  

The great news about remote working is that you can make money while traveling. One of the best ways to do this is by investing in vacation rental properties. Even though the United States is one of the best choices when choosing to invest in vacation rentals. European countries are also popular travel destinations and are worth considering.  

1. Barcelona, Spain 

Barcelona is not just for adults but also is an excellent vacation for the entire family. From beaches to the mountains, there is much more than just sports in Barcelona. Montpellier is one of the most scenic areas of France. There are many areas where you can look and find the perfect vacation rental for an investment. It is rich in history. It was initially founded in 1593 by Henry the IV. The Fabre Museum has hundreds of works of art available. The Montpellier Cathedral is another one of Montpellier’s best attractions and pre-dates the mid-1500’s.   

5. Carcassonne, France

The Medieval city of Carcassonne is the 9th most popular place to visit in France. The city is the largest city that survived the middle ages. In addition to the town of Carcassonne, there is also a church called Basilica of Saints Nazarius. They were both built over 100 years ago. If touring the building sounds dull, there are also some beautiful beaches to relax on and the great local food and drinks available inside the town. 

6. Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh is a city rich in history and boasts of having a Museum that entirely consists of writers. Individuals can stay busy touring Edinburgh castle and spend a week enjoying the summer festivals. There are places to learn to dance and explore the Royal Mile, where one stops at the Whiskey Shop. At this shop, vacationers can watch the whiskey-making process and sample the product.  

Edinburgh is not just about drinking and traveling but is also a great place to take the family. You can explore local parks and areas like Gorgie Farms. 7. Switzerland

Switzerland is one of the most beautiful places in the world and well worth the investment. They are known for their fabulous skiing and the Swiss Alps.
