Hello, I’m Ben Holbrook, a professional freelance travel writer, photographer, filmmaker and copywriter from the UK (based on the Gower peninsula in South Wales) – available worldwide.

Because I believe that travel can and should be a force for good. Not only for each of us as individuals, but also for the collective us.
I believe that travel can help us embrace and celebrate our cultural differences and similarities, that our lives and the world as a whole can be enriched by the new experiences and relationships travel affords us.
Environmentally responsible.
I believe that a broadened view of the world, and our place within it, can help us appreciate the rare beauty of our planet and inspire us to protect it – not only while travelling, but also once we get back home.
Actively alive.
I also believe that travel, for most people in the modern world, is a chance to try new things, to indulge and live the best versions of our lives.
Free from the responsibilities of home, our trips should be about self-discovery and new experiences, both mentally and physically. Active travel, whether it be cycle tours, surf, snow, hiking or diving trips, are my cup of tea.
I’m also passionate about gastronomy and believe it is the perfect way to learn about new cultures and connect with local people.
