The US is a huge country packed with many great states and cities beyond the world-famous lands of California and New York.  Here are a few essential places to explore on your next visit!

Mississippi

Mississippi River, USA

What could be one of the most underappreciated places in all of the United States is Mississippi. It seems that most people seem to disregard Mississippi as they just don’t give enough time to see what is on offer.

If you consider a trip to Mississippi, you could fly into Tupelo airport, hire and car and go exploring. One of the most amazing places you can see should you choose to visit Mississippi is the Windsor Ruins.

Set way off the beaten track, the Windsor Ruins offer a sense of peace and escape that is difficult to come by in the United States. While visiting the Windsor Ruins, you will be left in awe as you are surrounded by beauty at every turn, but you will also be filled with a sense of reality upon realizing just what Windsor Ruins represents.

Of course, there is so much more to see and do in Mississippi; this is just one of our recommendations. No matter where you find yourself, though, do attach some importance to visiting this beautiful state.

Oregon

Oregon Coast, USA

If you are looking for an escape as well as a sense of adventure, then there is no better state to visit than Oregon. Oregon could be one of the most stunning places on earth, let alone the United States.

Oregon has an abundance of greenery, stunning shorelines, and views that will stay with you for your entire life. It is often said that Oregon offers something for everybody, and to accompany its stunning views, it is also the home of great food and some pretty incredible shopping.

Oregon is full of enchantment, from its views to its towns, and it has plenty to offer for the adventurer too. If you are looking for something that will blow your mind and stay with you until the end of time, then add Oregon to your bucket list.

Arizona

Ok, so we say Arizona and most people who haven’t visited just think of the desert. Well, while Arizona has its fair share of sandy view, it’s so much more than that. In fact, what most people don’t know is that Arizona is one of the most visited states in the USA.

One of the reasons that Arizona is so popular is probably thanks to having over 300 days of sunshine per year. To add to all that sun, you also have the incredible Grand Canyon, Route 66, and even Tombstone.

Arizona is yet again another incredible place for everybody, and after just one visit, you quickly find that you want to return. Arizona has so much to offer and is buried in history and a plethora of secrets.

So, there are three incredible places that we recommend that you must visit, there are, of course, so many more places in the United States that you should consider visiting and hopefully, this post will encourage you to head on out and find them.

Just remember, before you start spending big on vacations that can break the bank, why not take the risk and vacation at one of the hundreds of incredible places right outside your front door.
