10 Brunch Cafes in Barcelona – Recommended by Coffee and Brunch

Barcelona brunch expert Claudia from Coffee & Brunch shares 10 hot brunch cafes in beautiful Barcelona.

If you fancy taking a break from all that paella and pa amb tomaquet, allow me to recommend some interesting brunch places…

1. Brunch by the Pool at Restaurant Les Delicies del Hotel Catalonia

Out of the many hotels that offer an all-you-eat buffet brunch in Barcelona, this is the one I recommend. Besides the buffet you can ask for several small dishes as many times as you want. But the best part is that after brunch you can relax by the swimming pool on their terrace – don’t forget your bathing suit and a towel!

Address:  Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 644 08007 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Passeig de Gracia (Yellow, Green and Purple Line)

2. All-You-Can-Eat Brunch Buffet with Unlimited Mimosas at Timeline Bar

Timeline - All you can eat brunch cafe in Gracia, BarcelonaLocated in the neighborhood of Gracia, this place is very small so it’s important to book a table. Besides the unlimited brunch buffet, the menu also includes hot dishes and, depending on your choice, unlimited mimosas.

AddressCarrer de la Providència, 3 08024 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Fontana (Green Line)

3. Brunch Near Barcelona’s Main City Beach at Can Dendê

Can Dendê Brunch Cafe BarcelonaAn original space with a small terrace located in a street corner that is usually sunny and quiet. We find ourselves in Poblenou, far away from the typical tourist areas, but just a few streets away from the beach. The dishes served here are delicious and the service is great. It’s usually very busy and they don’t accept reservations. My advice is to go before 12 o’clock.

Address: Ciutat de Granada, 44 08005 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Llacuna (Yellow Line)

4. Exotic Brunch at Trópico

This place offers dishes with tropical flavors and is located in the colorful Raval barrio. It’s a space that gets a lot of natural light, the service is fast and you have a wide range of brunch dishes that you can enjoy everyday of the week, from 10am to 7pm. It gets pretty busy at the weekend, so I recommend booking a table.

AddressCarrer del Marquès de Barberà, 24 08001 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Drassanes (Green Line)

5. Brunchtails in the City Center at Alsur Café

One of the first restaurants in Barcelona to offer brunch. Thanks to their experience, they offer a great range of creative brunch dishes. The best parts are the big terrace in a quite plaza and the brunchtails – original cocktails especially created to complement their brunch. Book a table on the terrace to eat in the sunshine.

AddressPlaça de Sant Cugat, 1 08001 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Jaume I (Yellow Line)

6. Vegetarian Brunch at Vegetalia

The creators of Vegetalia started their business producing organic products, so you can rest assured that most of their produce are ecological. Their brunch is very simple, there isn’t much to choose from – there is a dish that contains everything, fruit, salad, something salty, something sweet and the drinks are included. They have three restaurants, one in Raval, one in Gotico and one in Born.

AddressPlaça d’Emili Vendrell, 1 08001 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Sant Antoni (Purple Line)

7. Brunch Buffet, Music and City Views at B-Lounge

Another all-you-can-eat buffet ideal for those who love to eat accompanied by music mixed by a DJ. The best part of the brunch comes after the meal, when you can go up on the hotel terrace and enjoy a 360º view of Barcelona city while you sip a good cocktail.

Nearest metro: Liceu (Green Line)

8. Brunch for People with Intolerances at Copasetic

From the moment you enter this restaurant, you can feel the love that the owners have put into this project. With each passing year, they have developed a detailed range of original dishes, catering to people with allergies and food intolerance.

Address: Carrer de la Diputació, 55 08015 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Rocafort (Red Line)

9. Healthy Flexitarian Brunch at Flax & Kale

It’s one of the popular restaurants in Barcelona at the moment. Located in Raval, it has a menu focused on healthy eating and it’s ideal for vegetarians and flexitarians.

Address: Carrer dels Tallers, 74 08015 Barcelona

10. Brazilian Brunch by the Beach at La Carioca

This place has the common size of a restaurant in Barceloneta, small! But the reason I do recommend it is because of the friendly service and the good Brazilian food with healthy options. Plus, it’s really close to the beach!

Address: Carrer de Ginebra, 20 08003 Barcelona
Nearest metro: Barceloneta (Yellow Line)
